HAILEY GARRETT
Based out of Palm Beach, Florida, Hailey has over a decade of photography experience with concentrations in beauty and fashion, commercial, lifestyle portraiture, editorial and sports (specifically golf) photography. Her riveting images have been featured in Time Square (for the inaugural Women’s PGA Cup) and on websites such as Golf Digest and The Daily Mail. She has photographed for many high-profile clients and events around the United States, including Healthy Partners, GCSAA (Golf Course Superintendent Association of America) and PGA of America (with events such as the PGA Championship, PGA Merchandise Show, PGA Junior Championship and the Women’s PGA Cup.) Her work has also been featured in art exhibits such as The Threshold. In 2019, Hailey curated her own photography exhibition, Proximity, where she showcased a limited collection of her images that focused on modern makeup trends with elemental twists. She is well-versed with a variety of cameras including Nikon, Canon, Hasselblad and Sony. She specializes in portrait, commercial and editorial retouching as well as photo restoration.
Everyone that knew Hailey knew that she always had a camera in her hand. Destined for a career in photography, her journey started at a young age when she was introduced to it during the rapid rise of social media and technology. Her friends and family knew that this was more than just a hobby. She was gifted her first digital camera, a Nikon D2X, on her 16th birthday - instead of a car! She easily picked up on how to work in a dark room and utilize programs such as Photoshop and Lightroom. She quickly learned how to create captivating images using the natural beauty within each of her subjects. Her consistent desire to improve along with her strong curiosity drove her to continue to expand her knowledge. Wanting to learn more about the ins and outs of photography, Hailey decided to further sharpen her skill set by pursuing her undergraduate studies. She fell in love with commercial photography during her time at The Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale, where she received her undergraduate degree. She became intrigued by the technical side of photography and found herself fascinated by the artistry of controlling the lighting in order to achieve the perfect shot.
Hailey currently resides in sunny Palm Beach, where she works as a consultant for the PGA of America, maintaining their photography archive and managing her own growing photography business. When she’s not busy with her calling, she can be found kayaking, biking and spending time with her fiance, friends and family. She is a world traveler and food aficionado and loves trying adventurous new cocktails, recipes and restaurants. Her favorite drink is a fig old-fashioned- with two Italian cherries.
She continues to be passionate about her work, and enjoys collaborating with her clients’ to help their creative visions come to life. With a smile always on her face, Hailey prioritizes timeliness, excellence and precision in everything that she does- going above and beyond to ensure that her clients are just as thrilled about their photos as she is.
